Paris socialist mayor, Bertrand Delanoë launches his blog

The campaign to decide Paris’ mayor has just been launched. In a few months (February 2008), we will know who will be the new Paris mayor, or precisely, if our actual left wing mayor, Bertrand Delanoë will keep his cityhall leadership in right wing majority - Sarko-Land.

After a few months of false suspense and the official  announcement on September 4, 2007 of his application for the second mandate to be boss of Paris cityhall, Bertrand Delanoë launched his weblog.

As the website aims to be interactive, there are lots of videos, testimonials, “participatory debates” etc.

Delanoë says : “You will not only be encouraged to talk to me about your ideas, but you will be also asked to share them and exchange views with other Parisian citizens: this site will be a lively place of the democratic expression.”

I hope this blog will be like Bertrand Delanoë’s public speeches : punchy, human-rights and environment caring, clear and never conservative or boring.
