Pictures Of Word Trade Center 9/11 Attack Taken From Paris

 

I took and saved these pictures from  Fourmilab site as soon as I heard the news about the Twin Towers attack on September 11, 2001. It was around 4 pm, I was in Paris, wondering if I could see what was going on there from one of thousands satellites going around the globe.

Though it was in a pre-Google Earth era and I couldn’t find any earth satellite high-res pictures [if I zoomed to the East Coast, the pixels got larger and whole picture got blurred], still it’s pretty visible here, on the first and the last picture that NYC is burning.
